How r u?

Now, I am Brisbane now.

At Wai Kee’s house… nice house.. hehe..

Now, using her laptop to blog.

I think Wai Kee still stuck in a meeting with her boss.

 

I arrived at Brisbane airport around 3.30pm (1.30pm in M’sia).

Then, took a train to Roma street to meet up Wai Kee and Teh.

Thank you very much… ^^

We took a bus to the city.

The city in Brisbane is small.

Went to the city to have late lunch.

Then, took a bus to Kee’s house to leave the luggage and bag.

Just 2-3 stations from Kee’s house.

Then, went back to the city to meet up Kia Huei and his gf.

His gf is pretty (korean mix japanese).

We had dinner at a Korean restaurant. Food not bad. 

After that, nothing much to walk around.

Cause all shops closed at 5pm. =.=

So, we went home and rest.

Also, explore my new ipod touch. hehe

But still very blur in using it.

 

Back to Melb.

Wat had i done in Melb before I departure to Brisbane?

Ming finished her exams on Friday noon (26th June 2009).

In the morning,

Kit Li, Xin Yan(Kit Li’s buddy) and I went to the morning market nearby their ‘hotel’.

Nice and clean market. I forgot to snap a photo. Too bad..

After that, we had out breakfast near the market.

Will upload photo to show what we had that morning.

hehe.. lazy to describe.. mm.. dun know how to describe.. ><

After breakfast, we walked around the housing area.

We snapped some photos by using Kit Li’s camera.

If u guys got the chance to visit western countries, go explore housing area.

Every house got their own styles and design.

It is beautiful and comfortable. (but u may meet house that look like haunted house)

After that, we went to Melb centre to meet up Ming to go buy steamboat and BBQ ingredients.

While waiting for Ming at a meeting point, we went shopping.

I brought a lot of T-shirts. (and i swiped my credit card.. =( sigh.. uncontrollable)

Before buy ingredients, we had out lunch at a Shanghai restaurant.

We ordered ’siu long bao’ x 2, fried pancake and Ming ordered a big bowl of noodle.

I mean really big bowl… hardly can finish.. kesian ming.. eat till wan to vomit..

But end-up didnt finish.

The ’siu long bao’ nice.. For me, so-so only…

After that, Kit Li and Xin Yan went home first.

To clean their house before Sheng Jie and Florence visit their house.

While Ming and I waited for Sheng Jie and Florence to buy ingredients together.

We went to a asian grocery to beli those steamboat ingredients.

And then, went to a supermarket to beli BBQ ingredients.

Then, headed home.

Everyone are busy preparing the ingredients for that nite steamboat and BBQ.

And me, dun know wat to do.. Just tengok saja.. hehehe….

But I did help to carry stuff down to the swimming pool.. ><

That nite, we didnt BBQ.. cause we dun know how to use the BBQ thingy? I think.

So, we just had outdoor steamboat..  dam nice..

But that nite, was very ‘the’ cold… shivering while steamboat-ing…

cold cold… but nice experience… hahaha…

We brought too much ingredients. So, we cant finish everything up.

We managed to finish all the balls….

We still got marinated chicken wings and fish and others.

So, we planned to have BBQ the next nite.. hehe

Luckily, Sheng Jie got the Korean BBQ style thingy. ^^

 

The next day (27th June 2009)

Ming, Kit Li, Xin Yan, Sheng Jie, Florence, Zhen Hao and I.

Noon, we went makan SUSHI BURGER!!!

Yummy…. nice… one burger cost 6.50 AUD.

But worth to give it a try.

After the sushi burger, we went to another pancake shop and had our dessert.

Before dessert, we walked here and there in the city… ^^

Actually, we planned to go Chadstone shopping.

But we do not have much time to go there.

Need to take about 30 minutes to go there.

So, planned to go Chadstone the next day.

At a pancake shop.. Not bad.. quite nice…

Got their own style of pancake. nice…

Also, got variety of hot chocolate drinks.

Got chili choco, caramel, hazelnut, peppermint, dark choco and etc.

Worth to try the chili choco, since everyone said nice.. ^^

It is not spicy, at first u will taste the chocolate taste.

After the choclate taste, u will taste the chili taste..

I’m not very sure… Ask Ming to describe it to u.

After the dessert session, went and buy some stuffs for BBQ.

Then, went home prepare again…

When to the swimming pool area to have korean style BBQ..

It was a freaking cold nite.. everyone wore thick jacket or winter wear to BBQ.

^^ Nice experience…. Got chance.. Must try…

(Sad… didnt got the chance to swim at the Ming’s house heater pool…

cause under maintenance)

In the middle of BBQ, Joshua came and joined us.

He is my Taylor college classmate.

What a conincidence, Sheng Jie knows him.

What a small small world… hahaha…

After BBQ, we went to a pub nearby Ming’s ‘hotel’.

Just 2 minutes walk only.

Joshua, Sheng Jie, Ming and me ordered beer and drink.

We just sat for a while, cause the pub going to close soon.

Then, everyone went home rest.

 

28th June 2009

Woke up in the morning,

Took tram and train to Sofia’s restaurant.

I think we took about 30 minutes to reach there..

Kind a far actually.. But worth to go..

Cheap and delicious Italian food…

It is huge restaurant and alot of ppl having their lunch there.

Their serving is huge.. Will show u how huge soon or later..

After that, we went to Chadstone.

 It is a normal shopping complex.

Ming brought a belt from FCUK which cost 10AUD only.

I wan to buy a bag from FCUK which cost 50AUD..

It is a practical and nice bag. Too bad..

I didnt buy it.. Have to control myself.. hehehe…

Chadstone close at 5pm.. so early.. hehe..

Anyway, nothing much to shop.. Only have 2 floors.

Then, we went back to Melb central.

We went to Max Brenner.

It is a chocolate cafe (something like coffee shop la)

Food and drink so-so only but expensive..

For me, no more next time.. hehehe…

Oh ya… I still a straw spoon from this cafe..

Back KL will show you guys… hahaha..

After that, Ming and I when to eureka to have a nite view in Melb.

Thank you MIng. Thank you for ur company to the 88 eureka with me.

I know u have height phobia… Too bad.. 

The entrance to 88 eureka cost 16.50 AUD for adults.

If u wan to experience the view under ur feet..

U have to pay additional 12AUD.

I didnt go for that.. cause kind a expensive for me..

Anyway, worth to visit… Oh ya..

Ming and I experience the outdoor 88 eureka..

This is free and safe.. But you have to bare the strong wind….

The wind really will mess ur hair up… hahaha…

Capture in a photo and seeing with ur own eyes is totally different.

After that, we went to Crown.. Very near to eureka..

This time, we didnt go in the casino..

Ming and I waited for the fire show outside the Crown building.

I recorded a video, how fierce are the fire..

I am not sure I can upload the video or not..

I will try my best..

Then, meet up Sheng jie and Florence.

Went supper together.. My last nite in Melb..

Go makan wantan mee with Ming and Sheng Jie.

Then took a taxi to airport. Then, fly to Brisbane.
